Self Healing with Dr. Nicole LePera (Episode #286)

Dr. Nicole LePera is a holistic psychologist. Her inspiring posts on Instagram give insight and tools into mental wellness and healing. Dr. Nicole LePera begins by sharing how she struggled with high anxiety for most of her life, which led her into researching ways to heal the emotional body.

She emphasizes the importance of consistency with diet, sleep, and movement for helping to lower anxiety and regulate a dis-regulated nervous system. We ask about anxiety around sleep, and Dr. LePera explains how retraining our focus to be outside of our mind through breathwork can help with sleep issues.

Dr. Nicole LePera unpacks how we create stories about ourselves based on others’ behavior, and how to depersonalize those experiences. We also dive into authenticity in relationships, the power of our subconscious mind, and the connection between anxiety and being out of alignment.

We also talk about:

  • Nutrition and lifestyle affecting anxiety
  • Gut health and emotional body wellness
  • Changing the definition of trauma
  • Big ’T’ vs. little ’t’ trauma
  • Bringing awareness to our emotions
  • Familiarity and our subconscious
  • Boundary vs. ultimatum
  • Dr. Nicole LePera on highest self-work

The Intimacy of Motherhood, Ancestral Healing, + Living Authentically with Peta Kelly (Episode #234)

Since becoming a mom, Peta Kelly has really focused on the intimacy of motherhood and shares the outside fears pushed on her during pregnancy, and the trust she maintained within herself. Peta Kelly explains what ancestral healing is and the work she does to help heal the painful experiences of her family’s past, like having open conversations with her husband.

While in her twenties, Peta Kelly focused on soul growth, while working hard as an entrepreneur to set herself up financially before moving into motherhood. We discuss how she’s evolved spiritually since then, since writing her book, Earth is Hiring, and how her self-care rituals, such as stepping off of social media and cacao ceremonies, have changed since becoming a mom.

We also talk about:

  • Peta Kelly’s preparation & rituals for her home birth
  • Relationships with plant medicine
  • Importance of trust in Soul growth
  • Peta Kelly on the masculine & feminine in relationships

Human Design + Deconditioning To Find Yourself with Jenna Zoë (Episode #162)

Jenna Zoë digs into Human Design. Jenna Zoë first introduced us to this work and has since become a dear friend and guide as we are constantly learning more about ourselves and those close to us. In the episode, we have a little refresher on what Human Design is, as well as deconditioning yourself to move more toward the life you were meant to lead.

Jenna Zoë also shares how you should use Human Design and astrology tools in your life, connecting people’s design with their personal qualities and characteristics, and ways you can read your own chart. Plus, we both share a little more about our Human Design — Lindsey is a Manifesting Generator, Krista is a Projector — and how understanding it has helped us so much in connecting more as business partners and best friends.

Jenna Zoë has a grounded approach to Human Design that allows us to process it and use it to uplevel ourselves and the world around us.

How to Get Out of a Rut with Krista and Lindsey (Episode #316)

Although we’re all living very different experiences, many of us feel like we’re stuck in an uncomfortable and chaotic rut. So, we took some time to reflect on when we’ve felt stuck in the past and how we were able to break free. You may feel stuck now, and it’s okay to grieve for the loss of normalcy, but this too shall pass.

We also talk about:

How to Not Abandon Yourself with Krista and Lindsey (Episode #340)

Have you ever completely abandoned your feelings, your beliefs, your needs, or who you are? In this day and age, it’s easy to get swept up in comparison and stories that have been looping in the background of your beliefs since you were a kid.

We dig into what losing yourself means, how it feels to lose yourself, and when this has happened to us before, and we share some steps you can take to make sure you don’t lose yourself. It’s such a sneaky feeling! There are times when you don’t realize what’s happening but you’ve suddenly abandoned how you feel, what you want, and what’s important to you. Let’s talk about how to come back to yourself.

We also talk about:

Triggers: How to Identify and Work Through Them with Aaron Rose (Episode #330)

Aaron Rose is the coach that we have been working with to help uncover unconscious biases, be more intentional, and nurture inclusivity. There can be so much information, news, and things we’re seeing daily that can be very triggering.

We hear that word a lot, trigger, and it’s important for us to unpack what that really means and how we can work against that. It’s okay to be triggered, but there’s something underneath that trigger that needs to be examined. How do we heal these deep-rooted issues that go so far back to heal our emotional body?

Aaron Rose teaches us his method of inner work for dealing with triggers.

In this episode, we chat with Ryan Weiss about anxiety, something he’s struggled with in his life and the thing that he’s dedicated his work to alleviating.
