Hey, Almost 30 Fam—K+L here. Let’s take a little trip down memory lane, shall we?
Your twenties are a wild ride—equal parts exhilarating and confusing, with plenty of “What am I even doing?” moments along the way. We want to take a moment to reflect on what we’ve learned, what we wish we knew, and why we wouldn’t change a single thing.
Feeling Lost? You’re Right on Time
There were so many moments in our twenties when we felt lost—like we were behind, like we weren’t “on track.”
And looking back? That feeling was actually a sign that we were exactly where we needed to be. The uncertainty, the questioning, the pivoting—it’s all part of it. It’s easy to believe that everyone else has it together, but the truth is, figuring things out as you go is the most normal thing in the world.
Change Isn’t the Enemy—It’s the Guide
We used to think that once we reached a certain milestone—a job, a relationship, a big move—life would settle. Spoiler alert: it never does. Change is the one constant, and instead of resisting it, we’ve learned to embrace it. Every unexpected turn, every detour, every moment of “this wasn’t the plan” has led us somewhere we never could’ve imagined. And that? That’s where the magic happens.
Hustle Smarter, Not Harder
Our twenties were full of late nights, side hustles, and trying to prove ourselves.
And while there’s nothing wrong with ambition, we’ve also learned that burnout isn’t a badge of honor. The key? Working with intention—not just working for the sake of working.
And let’s talk about money—because wow, we learned some financial lessons the hard way. From impulse spending to avoiding budgeting, we made mistakes, but those experiences taught us how to respect and manage our finances in a way that actually serves us.
Your Body Is Not a Project—It’s Your Home
If we could go back and tell our younger selves one thing, it would be this: stop treating your body like something that needs to be fixed. We spent too many years picking ourselves apart, trying to meet impossible standards, and letting our self-worth be dictated by how we looked. But now? We’ve shifted from objectifying our bodies to honoring them—for their strength, their resilience, their ability to carry us through life. And that shift? It’s everything.
The Best Is Yet to Come
If your twenties feel overwhelming, trust us—it gets better. The challenges, the uncertainty, the heartbreaks—they all shape you. And as much as we loved (and sometimes survived) our twenties, we’re even more excited for what’s next.
With love,
Krista & Lindsey
