Hello beautiful souls. It’s Krista. I want to tell you about something that I’ve recently been feeling very deeply: the importance of trusting the path my soul is on. It’s so easy to get caught up in that “masculine” energy of doing, striving, and achieving. But I’ve learned that if I only focus on that, I miss out on the softer, more intuitive side of myself, which is just as important.
Sound familiar? Many of us are conditioned to lead with the “doing” energy, especially in a world that pushes us to be strategic, clear, and in control. But here’s the thing: we’re not meant to live in just that space. We’re here for more.
When we slow down and let go of control, we can get to know the other parts of our souls.
As for me, I’m here to experience every part of myself—the leader, the lover, the mystic, the sage. All of our parts, whatever they are, are essential to being the fullest version of ourselves.
The Power of Embracing the Unknown
I know it can be scary to let go of what’s familiar. But here’s something I’ve learned: the more I trust my soul’s guidance, the more I realize that the unknown is where the magic happens. For a long time, I thought I had to have everything figured out and every step planned. I thought that’s how life worked—but it’s not.
In moments where I was at rock bottom, I couldn’t see how it all fit together. But what I came to realize is that in those very moments, I was learning to trust. I started to trust that my soul knew exactly what it was doing—even when I couldn’t see the road ahead. And that’s when things started to shift.
If you’re struggling with uncertainty, find peace in this: uncertainty isn’t something to fear—it’s part of your journey.
Trust that your soul knows the way, even when you don’t. It’s okay not to have all the answers right away. Life isn’t a straight line. It’s an adventure.
Breaking Free from People-Pleasing
This is a tough one. I’ve been that person who over-schedules, says “yes” to everything, and pushes myself to the brink because I didn’t want to disappoint anyone. Ya feel me? But here’s the truth I’ve come to understand: people-pleasing is a prison. It’s a way of giving away your power and not honoring your own needs or desires.
Here’s a real-life example: I had a moment recently where I was about to go to dinner with a friend, but I just didn’t want to go. I was tired, my body was telling me to rest, but I felt this pull to go because I didn’t want to let my friend down. Then, it hit me: I love freedom, but here I was, chained to obligations that didn’t align with what I truly wanted. That’s when I realized—if I want freedom, I have to start saying “no.”
For anyone that needs it, I am giving you permission to say no! Your needs and desires matter, and setting boundaries is key to honoring them.
Trusting Your Own Soul’s Journey
The more I’ve let go of people-pleasing, over-functioning, and the need to have everything figured out, the more space I’ve created for my soul-led life.
And trust me, it’s not always easy, but when I lean into that trust, life becomes richer. More fulfilling. More aligned with who I truly am.
So, if you’re feeling lost or uncertain, remember that you’re on your own soul-led journey. Trust in the unknown. Even in the discomfort, know that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. Relax into the adventure because your soul really does know the way!
