The End of 2021 and 2022 Astrology Predictions
One thing we LOVED about our convo with Ophira (1/2 of the Astrotwins) was how a city can have an astrological sign depending on the day it was founded or chartered.
Astrology charts capture a moment, whether it’s a town being formed, a person, or a marriage. For instance, Los Angeles is a Virgo and New York is a Gemini.
We also learned that Neptune has been in Pisces since 2012 and now it is nearing its end. This is meant to bring a spiritual revolution. It’s so interesting to see how, with the advancement of technology, everybody has access to astrological information and how the field has gained so much popularity in recent years.
Ophira shared that every 165 years, Neptune returns to each sign for about 12 years. The last time it was in Pisces was in the 1800s, when the spiritualist movement was founded.
On April 12th, 2022, we will have Jupiter and Neptune come together, which are the two rulers of Pisces. Ophira predicts this could be a real moment of spiritual awakening for the planet.
Key dates for 2022 astrology predictions:
Ophira explains how this is the year of the “new abnormal” because we are in a limbo state. We are not going back to what was once normal, but rather on the path to entering a new normal.
In this in-between space, 2022 is all about stepping into your own leadership and power.
Also, the nodes will be undergoing a change. The north node is our collective karmic destination, and the south node is what we are still working through. We are going to be switching out of Gemini and Saggitarius, which we have been in since May 2020, and into Scorpio and Taurus.
This energy has a lot to do with money, crypto-currency, NFTs, and there may be a peak moment at the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction on April 12th and again at the end of July or early August when Uranus, which rules technology, and the north node come together.
Looking ahead, Pluto will enter Aquarius in 2024. Pluto takes 12-20 years to go through a sign and since 2008, it has been in Capricorn.
Pluto tears down in order to rebuild. It wipes away what no longer serves us and forces a new model. This will all play a role in the development of our society’s “new normal.”
The Significance of North and South Nodes
The north node will enter Taurus on January 18th for a year and a half. Taurus is about the physical realm and physical touch. Ophira explains how Taurus is the 3D world personified, and what’s powerful about Taurus’ is that they are not afraid to make a declaration.
We live in a world where every sentence ends in a question mark. We need to be able to make a declaration AND agree that our opinions can change.
With regard to the 3D and 5D realms, Ophira notes how there is a split happening and that there is a progression that is bringing us into the 5D. Astrology can be used as a bridge to better understand this.
While a medium or psychic pull from another realm, astrology is black and white in that these are where all of the planets are in relation to Earth. In the eyes of people who are more skeptical, astrology provides proof.
What is the north node?
At the moment of your birth, that’s where the north node was in relation to Earth. Whoever is born in that period will have the same north node. The north node is what you strive to fulfill in this lifetime.
What is the south node?
On the other hand, the south node is who you were in your past lives and embodies what you are innately good at. It’s the energy you have mastered and have a spiritual Ph.D. in.
The north node is the journey you’re going on, whereas the south node is what you have mastered. You dream in your south node and must learn to speak in your north node.
When you have the same south node as your sun sign, you’re spirituality costing in this lifetime. Ophira shares how your soul is a bit of a spoiled brat and in order to counter this has to do service work to counter karmic debt.
But if your north node and sun sign are in the same sign, then you’re a late-blooming star — you’re like, “oh could I be that person?” You gradually rise into your power.
What is Chiron?
Chiron is an asteroid that represents the wounds you bring in that you’re here to heal for others. It’s between Saturn and Uranus. Saturn is about structure and Uranus is about chaos.
Think of it like this, Saturn is the parent and Uranus is the rebellious teen. People can look at their Chiron to see what they are trying to heal in this lifetime. It’s typically the thing you have always been dealing with.
Your Chiron return happens when you’re between 49-51. Everything you thought you were doing suddenly stops making sense. You go through this weird no man’s land and come into a new enlightened version of yourself.
Saturn brings things into a more tangible form and the Chiron is more about an inner healing journey. The Saturn return is when you figure out what you want to be when you grow up. You separate and individuate from your parents.
The Best Ways To Prepare for the 2022 Astrology Predictions
From January to May: Jupiter is in Pisces from December 28th, 2021 to May 10th, 2022. This is a time of really getting into your spiritual work, connecting with your passion and creative side.
From May to October: Jupiter is in Aries, which is about taking initiative. Commit to something in May that allows you to make a bold, trail-blazing move.
According to Chinese Lunar astrology, this is the year of the water tiger, starting on February 1st. Chinese Lunar astrology divides the decade into two-year periods, each ruled by an element.
The first few years of the decade are ruled by metal and have to do with infrastructure. The second and third years are the water element and are about letting things flow, even if it is messy and experimental. The fourth and fifth years are wood years; this is when we start to really plant and grow.
2020 was the year of the rat, which is Jupiter and all about excess. Everything is about getting big and spreading because Jupiter makes us global.
2021 was the year of the ox, which is ruled by Saturn and is the opposite of Jupiter. It’s more about restriction, structure, calmness, and plowing the field.
2022 is the year of the tiger, which is ruled by Uranus. Ophira predicts that it will be a year of chaos, revolution and emotional detachment. It could also include aspects of innovation, science and may feel a little heartless or cold.
